Lea Hill Country cottages

We have six superbly appointed, characterful holiday homes situated within our grounds.

All cottages have their own garden areas and are furnished and equipped to high standards. Each has CD player, DVD player and Freeview television. They share extensive grounds including two dog exercise fields, a barbeque, a summerhouse and a Hot Tub.

Rental includes bedlinen, towels & teatowels and all fuel.

Woodpecker Cottage

A very cosy retreat, sleeping 2 people. Woodpecker Cottage boasts a lounge with exposed stone walls and a fireplace. The compact kitchenette is complete with a cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

There is a pretty bedroom and a delightful sunny garden.

Nuthatch Cottage

Very spacious self catering accommodation for four people.

The cottage provides two double rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.

A stunning double aspect lounge and fireplace adds to your comfort; together with a separate dining room, both on the ground floor. There is also a ground floor cloakroom.

The well fitted kitchen is equipped a cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. 

Quakers Annexe

A comfortable, self contained annexe of our historic thatched farmhouse, Quakers has a bright, attractive lounge and a kitchen diner with beech worktops and dining area. Upstairs boasts original beams, an ancient screen and two delightful ensuite bedrooms - one double and one twin bedded (but linkeable into a king size double if required.)

Wagtail Cottage

Attractive and comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

The living-room has a welcoming wood-burner effect electric stove; and French windows leading on to a terrace surrounded by lawn. The kitchen-area is fitted with cupboards in limed oak and supplemented by a utility-room housing more equipment. The lounge leads to a separate dining-room next door.

Upstairs are two attractively decorated bedrooms; the master bedroom is large enough to feature a pair of comfortable armchairs.

Kingfisher

Graded four stars by Visit Britain, this pretty, thatched accommodation makes a comfortable home from home. This spacious apartment has been created from an ancient thatched barn retaining attractive period features. Delightful views are enjoyed from the cottage and the gardens.

On the ground floor there is an attractive, comfortably furnished living room with coalburner effect fire. A light, spacious room with double aspect views across a pretty, hidden valley and our extensive gardens. The well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc adjoins the lounge.

Chaffinch

Very comfortable ground floor apartment with delightful views and small gardens back and front. The ensuite bedroom has twin beds which zip-and-link into a king size bed if required.
