Graded four stars by Visit Britain, this pretty, thatched accommodation (to the right in the photo - part/wing of main house) makes a comfortable home from home.

On the ground floor there is an attractive lounge with cast iron Woodburner effect stove, exposed stone wall and a delightful outlook across the gardens to the pretty valley beyond. From the quarry-tiled kitchen diner, with solid beech worktops and table, a French door leads your own garden area with garden furniture and the nearby parking area.

On the first floor, a large landing, graced with an ancient oak screen, leads to a pretty double bedroom (five foot bed) with ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a comfortably large room with wall beams, stripped pine floor and very pretty views across the terrace and gardens. Adaptable bedding provides two three-foot twin beds which can be linked to give a super king six-foot double. The spacious ensuite bathroom boasts a super sized bath plus an over bath power shower.

Quakers is non-smoking.
